Six Pack of Corona (Typewriters) Durational Performance

Six Pack of Corona (Typewriters) is a durational performance by poet Phillip T. Nails that unfolds in real time, one keystroke at a time. At the center of the space: a circle of six fully refurbished vintage Corona typewriters. Over the course of the performance, Nails types six “long-neck” poems on three-foot-long sheets of paper, letting language stretch, spill, and accumulate.

As the poems emerge, special guest artists—poets, dancers, musicians, and performance makers—drop in to sit at a typewriter or activate the room through improvisational exchange. Sound, movement, and text overlap and converse. This is an open, porous performance: arrive for a moment or linger for the full arc. Stay as long as curiosity holds you.
